Student-Led Peer Review: A Practical Guide to Implementation Across Disciplines and Modalities

Drawing on the authors’ extensive experience and research, this book provides a practical introduction to the key principles, steps, and strategies for implementing student peer review—the collaborative process known in different disciplines and contexts as critique, workshopping, and other forms of peer response. With particular attention to critique as it is practiced in art and design education, the book addresses common challenges that faculty and students encounter. The authors offer an easy-to-follow, rigorously tested three-part protocol to use before, during, and after a peer review session, along with advice on adapting each step to individual courses.
